Dr. Amit Kumar

Dr. Amit Kumar is Assistant Professor at Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS). He holds a Ph.D. in Science Policy from the Centre for Studies in Science Policy, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He has done his Engineering from the University of Delhi and M.Phil. from JNU. He is involved in various national and international projects within the domain of STS (Science-Technology-Society) policy studies, particularly related to new and emerging technologies such as AI, nanotechnology and biotechnologies. He has also published in various peer-reviewed journals and contributed chapters in books; apart from preparing reports, policy briefs, and discussion papers on related topics.
